MERRY FITZMAS!

I thought this day would never come.
It seemed to be dragging on for so long.
I thought the Bush Junta had somehow forced Fitz into retreat.
I thought they were getting ready to fire him from his job, the way they've recently been getting rid of federal prosecutors.
I thought there would be a huge coverup, and no repercussions for Scooter or Cheney.
I thought nobody in the Misadministration would ever face any sort of consequences for their actions.

The outcome of the trial is uncertain, of course.
But it feels good to have a gleam of hope, for a change.

Let's hope this becomes a Fitzmas miracle.

Maybe during the treason trial they can subpoena the energy meeting records.

That's what this whole year of delaying was about.
