3. I have read reports of them leaving dozens of times over the past years
The poodle or one of his puppies would always come out and deny that was the case shortly thereafter.

The figures don't lie though.

2. The U.K.'s new Prime Minister has promised a total pull out.
"They" know it is a no win situtation and are getting out. Hell, even with
Tony Blair in power the Brits turned walked away from the second largest
city in Iraq, Basra.

This is what he said in Prim Minster's Questions, Wed 4th July 2007:

Iraq

Mr Brown ruled out a call from the Liberal Democrat leader, Sir Menzies Campbell, to set a date for the withdrawal of British troops from Iraq.

The prime minister said that the UK had obligations to the United Nations and the Iraqi government.

"We are not going to break these obligations at this stage."
