Both seem like metaphors for each other to me.

1. The Bush administration's handling of the entire Iraq matter is...
...the running of the bullshit.

12. Indeed
If they had anything but bs, these oilmen, bush and cheney, would have been getting oil out of Iraq... ABC news last night said there is little or no oil being pumped from Iraq.

They are so incompetent that these so called oilmen can't even get oil!

2. Making other people, i.e. soldiers run the bulls for you...in downtown Bagdhad.
President Bush and VP Cheney should run their own bulls.

6. Those Who Participate in the Running of the Bulls Do So Voluntarily
What Bush/Cheney do is more like setting the bulls loose in our living room.

7. The running with the bulls
is to show how brave you are (and lucky). The running of the Iraq war is to get rich (for the people running the war).

Let's see.........to test bravery or to get rich........hmmm tough call.

8. I wouldn't want to be in the middle of either.
I've been run over by a few cows and large calves, and I want nothing to do with a bunch of pissed-off, scared, full-sized bulls with horns!

10. Yes, or that.
After some consideration, the bulls might actually be safer.
