2. disagree somewhat.
I think it's true to some extent on sites like DU, but in general, the sort of two-versions-of-the-truth thing that you find on bipartisan sites and in the mainstream media doesn't occur in the same way or to the same degree on specifically partisan sites like DU.

5. I'll tell you this---
If it wasn't for the internet we would not know anything that was going on. You never ever hear it on network news or cable news. My local news station has more than the network...The internet is what beat the republicans. The message got out there. That is why the damn turders are trying to take it over. They want to take over the last bastion of news we have.

Senator Coleman (suprise suprise suprise) is in agreement that we should keep the internet free. He does not want the big companies to take it over. Or so he says - lets see how he will vote. He said that he is pushing for a more expanded broadband so that the internet will be more accessible to everyone. Some times he does vote the right way, but more often than not he sides with bushy bush.
