Common denominator in Repugs Calling for Iraqi Pullout? They All Face Re-Election in '08!

I am perplexed by the cheers here whenever another Republican, who is up for re-election in 2008 and can read the polls, suddenly pulls a complete 180° turn-around from their previous support of Bush's illegal and catastrophic war.

These Republicans are not "courageous". They are not "standing up to Bush".

These are the very same people who had no problems whatsoever as our troops perished in combat day after day, week after week, month after month, and year after year.

Now that their political "gamble" has proved to be a very bad one and one that might very well cost them their precious positions in the U.S. Senate, they announce that they have "troubles" with the current "strategy".

These people are not heroes! They are murderous, self-serving monsters who do not merit our applause.

get them to rush to the other side of the boat so it rolls the other way, then throw them overboard anyway. NO 11th hour death row conversions allowed!
