would cheer them on. Don't they know that the tide has turned? You know, I always used to hear that politicians lived by the polls. Ours don't seem to even know they exist.
They're just trying to do the pseudo-macho "I don't care what the polls say, I'mma followin' my watermelon-sized balls" that the Republicans so long for.
sigh, if only the Republicans catered to us the same way Democrats cater to them.

I say that because we have some very progressive Dems who have been right on all the issues and aren't shy. They may be in the minority, but they exist. Yet I have never seen one of them really stand up to the corporate media.
While there is no doubt that the corporate media is wrong in so many ways the dems need to do what Michael did and show them up whenever they are on. What do they have to lose if they all do it?
10. Because speaking your mind has upredictable results
Candidates have consultants and advisers that inform them of what they need to say to get the response and votes they need. Speaking one's mind will not garner predictable results and thus the marketers and advisers council against this course of action.
Unfortunately this process is not conducive to introducing ideas to the public. It leads to an echo chamber which can only exaggerate fears and anxieties.
