So if a republiKlan wins in 2008 who will they blame for their

fuckups? Is Clinton still in play after a full 2 term republiKlan in charge? Will they need to harken clear back to Carter or LBJ? Surely they can't blame the mess on the chimp can they?

Even though they've done shit, they'll get the blame because that's how Republicans work.

Maybe if we're lucky we'll see a little sanity return to a fringe of the Republican party, but I believe most of 'em will continue to be the same old pandering, theocratic, incompetent, swaggering, mammon-worshipping, corrupt, borrow-and-spend good-ol'-boys they've always been since 1980 or before. But due to a little self-delusion (they'll think it's "rebranding") they'll claim that the Bushies were an aberration from the "true" republicanism they espouse.
