Olbermann's special comments last week...

RFK JR at Live Earth...

Michael Moore on Wolf Blitzer...

Someone turned up the dial a few notches. It's nice to see some people are finally speaking truth to power. Are we gearing up for something big?

(if you haven't seen those three videos, you better catch up!)

What's next? Better stock up on popcorn!

1. How about the editor for the John Birch Society's publication
writing this "If we truly want to celebrate the Founding Fathers who won our independence for us, and support our modern-day citizen soldiers who have been placed in harm’s way in Iraq, we would bring our soldiers home — now!"

14. Actually, Murdoch hasn't made the deal yet "Anyone But Murdoch"
Even as Dow Jones seemingly nears a deal with Rupert Murdoch's News Corp., there could be a fresh bid on the way. The Wall Street Journal publisher will talk Monday with a supermarket billionaire who has an eye for buying a major paper.

Dow Jones (nyse: DJ - news - people ) board members arescheduled to meet with billionaire Ron Burkle. Last month, the Dow Jones union approached Burkle about a possible bid. The union, which represents over 2,000 employees, has opposed a $5 billion, $60-a-share offer from News Corp. saying that Murdoch could meddle with the media company's editorial products and hurt its journalistic integrity.

Burkle, the 117th-richest American, made a fortune buying and selling supermarket chains and has been looking to use some of his $2.5 billion to pick up a major newspaper. Earlier this year, Burkle pursued an acquisition of the Tribune (nyse: TRB - news - people ), owner of the Los Angeles Times, but the company instead took an offer from the even-richer billionaire Sam Zell. (See: "Zell's Bid Wins")

According to a report on the Wall Street Journal Web site, Burkle will meet with a committee of the Dow Jones's board. The committee consists of Dow Jones Chief Executive Richard Zannino, three independent directors, and the Bancroft family's lead trustee.

As it -had- to. There is no simple, "vote 'em out of office" solution to this problem.

Also, Cindy's demand upon Pelosi...

7. Most definitely.
I think the saturation point has been reached and the whole political solution is about to titrate out. People have had it and change can't wait until 2008.

24. It may be more a symptom of the Bush stock plummeting,
like all of us who were anti-Bush and anti-war from the start KO, RFK & MM have always been saying the same thing, it just went unreported in the MSM.

Suddenly (:sarcasm:) the spineless media have inched away from the Republican party line to make it look like they are fair and balanced after all. "Hey look everybody, we've discovered a different point of view - who knew?"
