I would be willing to pay a small monthly fee
to a web site that lists the names of the stores that sells american made products. Somewhere where we can go and type in say for instance, 'radio' and get a list for where to buy one that is not made in china, preferably here in the north or south America.
Theres a lot of us out here IMO who would pay more for an American made product, my experience is the quality in American made is much better.

6. No. Even if the car is assembled here, the parts are made
all over the globe and the profits go back to Japan.

9. That wasn't the question.
The question was whether they were made in America and I said not completely and the profits don't stay here, either.

11. I Agree
But folks in other countries have to eat too... The original question ignores that part of the equation...

14. "Of course"! Why else would all the Repukes
be driving them? I mean, other than the union-busting techniques which the Japanese companies like to use ... remember, weren't they the ones who ridiculed the foreign car drivers (which got better gas mileage), calling them un-American, in the 70s?

5. The problem is that hardly anything is COMPLETELY made
in America.

Many parts are made elsewhere, but the parts are assembled here to make the complete product and vice versa.

8. That is actually one of the projects...
...that we have in mind for the Commonizm Network.

Companies that sell American made products.
Companies that donate money to Progressive causes and candidates.
Companies that treat their workers well.
Companies that will not do business with other "evil" companies.

It's encouraging to know that individuals see the value in that information, and would be willing to pay for it. We'll get right on it!
