WH predicts a "New Way" in Iraq.... WTF?
Source: CNN.com

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- As President Bush faces GOP pressure to change his war strategy, the White House announced Tuesday that an upcoming progress report will result in "the beginning of a new way" in Iraq.

A new way? What the hell is that? Unless the new way is out of the country, and back home. Probably means beef up Iranian border and prepare. Hope not.

1. it's all about language
they think they can stall and stall and stall as long as they want as long as every once in a while they use words like "NEW" and "BEGINNING" that way they feel they are never at an END!!!!!

5. You are exactly correct.
That's what Tony Snow says every day. "We have a new strategy and it's just beginning! So you have to give us more time!" Lather, rinse, repeat.

2. All they are doing is running out the clock
Bush has already said this will be a mess for the next president to clean up. This just buys them time. Soon, any criticism of the war will be dismissed as pure politics by the Repukes, and the complicit media will parrot that.

The Repukes will continue to juggle the war until the Dem takes over, then they will go anti-war and beat the Dem president and Congress with it, and attempt to hang the loss of the war on the Dem Congress and President in an effort to wash their hands of the blood and regain political momentum nationally.

Either that, or they will allow us to get attacked again and go back to fear monger mode. I suspect an attack and when it doesn't work, they will hang us with their war.

3. What we need is a imediate withdrawal plan announced on the
day we swear in a Democratic president in Jan. 2008. Something like what regun and assoc. did with Iran.

12. Who would have thought the phrase "pump and dump" would be applied
to war profiteering. Sad state of affairs we are in.

11. The White House is watching re-runs of Star Wars huh?
The original version of Star Wars (the movie) was later subtitled 'Star Wars, A New Hope' ...... soooo guess it's appropriate to re-name the 'new' Iraq War Strategy 'A New Way' ........ and of course the story goes round and round with really NO END just like the Star Wars Movie sequels. Personally I'm tired of re-runs. End This Fricking War Now. Peace.
