Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center Budget Cut In Half
Have they truly gone mad in Washington?

A story in USA TODAY reports that Congress is about to dramatically cut funding for the research and treatment of brain injuries caused by bomb blasts, an injury which has become known as the signature wound of the Iraq war.

House and Senate versions of the 2007 Defense appropriation bill contain $7 million for the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center — half of what the center received last fiscal year.

He's been partying since he went to Kennebunkport the three-day weekend before the Fourth all the was through this past three-day weekend which he spent at Camp David. What, you don't get three-day weekends every week?
