BUCK PASSING COWARD: Lord Pissypants the Decider blames US military for Iraq failure
Does the miserable failure include the "commander" in chief when he blames the commanders for losing Iraq?

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The White House announced Tuesday that an upcoming progress report will result in "the beginning of a new way" in Iraq, but President Bush said military commanders, not politicians, will show the way forward.

1. Wow. If only the forces didn't have to carry out Rummy's plans for the last
5 years. Too late!

5. So, the commander in chief abdicates his responsibility? If he is expecting
a MILITARY VICTORY, is he gonna delegate the use of tac nukes? I'm sure that thought crossed the mind of at least one warplanner out there when Fallujah was at its worst....

Now, of course I am being snarky, but that does sound like he's passing the hot potato before the thing goes to shit entirely, so he can blame the brass and shirk any responsibility of his own.

Thing is, it doesn't work that way. You can delegate authority, but you're stuck with responsibility--even when you're actively trying to shirk it!

6. New way no. what? 10? Same old shit in a new package. Don't buy it.
We up the terrorist threat level, call for a new way in Iraq and all the people will hide behind their couches and go along with it.

When does it become evident that staying in Iraq is worse then leaving?

unless they disagree with me, at which point they will be dismissed, and new, dumber ones will take their place."

8. He supports the troops by stabbing them in the back while they
ain't looking. Tomorrow when he makes his next political sales pitch in front of a captive military crowd, he'll be all for the troops again.

Unless that way is getting the hell outta dodge. Then he's gonna be "the commander guy" again.
