3. He needs a few lessons
regarding Closed Head Injuries. He might come to appreciate the devastating damage done to many of our wounded vets. Hope he has some shred of doubt about what he has done to these kids.

13. Voinovich R-Ohio declined to travel w/ * yesterday
<<A growing list of prominent Republicans says Iraq is a failure. One, George Voinovich, R-Ohio, declined to travel with Bush Tuesday.

One of the president's staunchest supporters said the administration had pursued the wrong policy for years after toppling Saddam Hussein. "We should have had a counterinsurgency strategy," said Sen. Kit Bond, R-Mo.

While speaking in Cleveland, Bush resurrected anecdotes that tried to link Iraq to the Sept. 11 attacks and suggested Islamic extremists can be converted to democracy as Japan was after World War II.

Bush has supporters. "The war is not lost. The enemy is on the run," insisted Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn.>>
