Or did he leave it and we still have it somewhere? What color is it currently? Anyone know?

No matter how mild or flagrant the offense? Gets spanked for not picking up toys...gets spanked for killing the cat...etc...
It quickly ceases to be an effective tool.
The color chart went down the same path...

5. I've heard it 3 times in airports since April

Once it was in Chicago and twice in Denver. Each time it was saying "the government has increased the threat level to Orange" (or something like that) It repeated over and over again the whole time I was in the aiport. (So, actually, I've heard it dozens of times.)

The first time I was anxious to find out what had happened. The second time I was curious. This last time, on June 2, I completely ignored it but I did think it was odd and until you mentioned it I've not thought about it. Haven't heard it anywhere else.

Said that the misadministration saw no point in color coding, if there were no specifics.

That's right...EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE, should be afraid of EVERYTHING.

Besides, they don't have a shade of brown on the chart to match Chertoff's "gut feeling".

7. Every time I'm doing my cardio workout (aka watching FAUX)...

They're crawl runs what the color of the day is. Lately, as an added bonus feature (or perhaps attempt to scare people enough to believe their bullshit) they've been running a seperate "Aviation Threat Level"...is there such a thing to the rest of the world? :eyes:

Chertoff took over - at least where the public is concerned

however - if you substitute the words "Terrorist attacks" for "bushies in deep doo-doo" it works as a predictor for the likelyhood of a terror attack alert

-- bush/cheney poll numbers in the toilet

-- republics jumping ship

-- congressional investigations/subpoenas

-- Dem Candidates out fundraise republics
