1. Even if he does...
Which, considering the source, is doubtful, so friggin' what?

What does said wingnut posit the ownership of a water company means?

2. Probably trying to tie to the recent reports about how bad bottled water
is for the environment and how some restaurants will no longer serve it.

I have no idea if it's true that RFK owns one.

7. How's bottled water bad for the environment?
We live under a hot springs and the water is bottled.

They expect people to drink from their hands or something?

8. This is from the reports I've heard
The energy required to make the plastic bottles.
The energy required to transport the product to vendors.
The fact that most the empty bottles aren't recycled, they wind up in land fills.

4. From the NY Times:
Robert F Kennedy Jr and other environmentalists have formed Tear of the Clouds LLC to introduce Keeper Springs' Mountain Spring Water bottled water to finance efforts to preserve and protect local waterways nationwide; Kennedy is meeting with local supermarket executives to persuade them to distribute new product; Keeper Springs is introducing print and outdoor campaign in New York area, with budget estimated at $2 million to $3 million that zeros in on clean waterways cause; campaign is being created by DeVito/Verdi

5. I buy my bottled water in huge bottles, which are reused, and reused again and again.
I imagine eventually the bottles are recycled.

I'm an environmentalist who has made many changes to my life.

I will NOT, however, drink the local water. I drink distilled water, alternating between that and other drinks.

My ecoist friends understand that the local water is not fit to drink.
