...make sure that you make a REAL BIG DEAL about them on EXACTLY the day that that politician is making an important speech criticizing Bush's murderous war, or better yet, maybe when they are proposing legislation for Universal Health Care. :sarcasm:
I don't care if it's Barney Frank's escort troubles, Robert Byrd's KKK involvement in the 1940s, or Edwards' haircut, whatever you do, make sure you wait to bring up those tidbits until the politician in question is on the front pages. :sarcasm:
Because I swear to god I haven't seen a single damn WORD about Robert Byrd in the months I've been here, until he made his "Fairy Tales" speech today, and now we suddenly have people going after him for his civil rights record?
We wouldn't want to like, you know, actually listen to anything Byrd said about Iraq or Bush, right? :sarcasm:
I mean, he's only been in office for 114 years. Like there haven't been other days to bring this stuff up?
BRA-freaking-VO. I can't believe people are actually taking the bait.
You are aware how badly the right want Byrd out of office, because they think his successor will be much more vulnerable to a GOP challenger...
Aren't you?
Or do you think the people of West Virginia will elect a racially and sexually tolerant republican in his place?
