I thought yesterday was funny here on DU but today takes the cake!
Between the BLOW by BLOW on the pervie pubbie in the restroom story out of Florida and the diaper diaries of the Vitter Shitter Critter I'm sore from laughing.

morning's Baton Rouge paper said that the LA Republic Party has circled its wagons around Vitter, but that if he does resign, they will push for Blanco to appoint Dave Treen, a prominent Republic, and ex-governor. Blanco is indicating that she WOULD honor their wish, and Treen has said he would accept the appointment. Treen is a moderate, at least. Not a bible-thumper like Vitter. Ironically, it was a political operative close to the Treen brothers who broke the story about the prostitute, Wendy Cortez, when Vitter was planning a run for governor, forcing Vitter to deny the relationship vehemently, but then withdraw from the gov race....way back when.
