I guess staying home sick (or however he weaseled out of it) is a good, albeit cowardly, way to keep your vote from being held against you later.

(We need an a$$-kissing smilie, too, for Republican nominees--cough*McCain*cough--who have to suck up to Bush's base to win their primaries.)
