I scored a 7. I would've scored even lower had I picked a different answer for the abortion question, which I thought should've had at least one additional option instead of being so black and white (federally funded or nothing at all).

I'm no rightwinger. Yet I understand the Dems hesitation on impeachment, or, maybe more accurately put, their slow buildup to it. Just because I'm not pounding them to impeach doesn't make me a Bush/Cheney apologist. That premise is wrong at its core. I don't think the OP is saying that is the premise, but those accusations have been made on this board. :(

BTW, forgot to add... I voted TO impeach, not against. But I'm not going to quit the party if they don't. Ending the war is more important. Stopping the slide of the middle class into despair is more important. Getting a healthcare bill passed is more important. Finding jobs and improving education for the poor is more important. NONE of these things will get done with Bush in office, true, but the Dems' have a choice: push towards getting all that done for the day when we get a president in the WH who won't veto, backed by a veto-proof Senate... or impeach. "Playing politics" - as those assholes on the right like to say - comes into play for 2008. We need indepedents to win. We abandon those more important issues for impeachment, and we'll lose some them, maybe too many, even though they want them impeached too, just like I do. It's not a black and white issue.
