4. Bush's reply is so lame

It was actually painfully embarrassing to listen to him
squirm out his answer. Same old crap. I think even he had
to realize how tired everyone was of hearing "fight them
there so we won't have to fight them here." He just couldn't
think of anything better at the time.

He doesn't seem to be able to think of anything better, period.

I can understand why some question whether he thinks at all.
