Should the Iraqi people have any say in what is happening to them
after all they really didn't start this war of aggression being waged against them. But, to you and I, as Americans, what do we do about the continuation of their slaughter, maybe murder would be a better word for it I just don't know anymore. I mean do we just sit back, keep a low profile and let the process follow its course, take its time or do we do something and if we do what. This genocide must stop. Shouldn't we be helping the Iraqi to get the little man to see that the carnage he wroth must end, something tells me the Iraqi citizens would like to see us do that, something also tells me it could garner some badly needed hugs too, by both us and the Iraqi. Removing our troops so they won't be involved in killing anyone anymore would go a long ways toward quelling the violence there I also happen to believe. I guess I'm just confused as to what our country needs to do if bringing to a halt the killing of innocent Iraqi is not the first thing we need and must do. color me blind or call me stupid or both, it matters not today. Today the taking of Iraqi's lives must stop and we must not give up until it does stop.

as he sits on his little stool crying his eyes out, he'll never understand

1. They Do, Sir
Those who have taken up the gun are busily determining the course of their country's affairs, in the contest of the civil war they have commenced.

"Violence is the ultimate test of sincerity."

5. not your post
I was responding to the post I linked to. Because Muslims are Muslims he posted, they are savages who kill each other. That is the standard position of the rabid right wingers, Cheney/Bush and hate talk radio.

I agree with your original OP. Iraqis should be the masters of their own fate.
