5. So why is Hillary always ahead in the polls?
I don't know one person who favors her. I can only assume that her poll numbers are coming from repubs who want her to run.

7. Last night at the local fair the Dem booth set up a "straw poll"
in which passersby could vote for Primary candidates by putting straws in jars labelled for the various Dem candidates. Hillary, followed by Obama, were getting the most votes, with Edwards a distant 3rd. We'll see how the vote comes out at the end of the fair, and of course the result will at best be no more accurate than an online poll, but I was quite surprised by the first night's results.

12. Media wants it that way. You can get a result that you're looking for
by how you ask the question. Case in point: ever noticed how a lot DU polls are leading one to vote in a certain way?

Example: Would you vote for 1) Hillary or 2) would you let the Republican win?

There's no answer to include 1) write-in Gore, Edwards, or Kucinich or 2) leave it blank

6. Wow Dennis!!! that would be a interesting ticket
but Dennis is not a happy candidate today with Edwards and Clinton, they want to limit candidates to debates.

I am really disappointed with Edwards. Interesting though this was through Fox news microphones???

http://www.wluctv6.com/Global/story.asp?S=6784011

just a snip:

They were caught by Fox News microphones discussing their desire to limit future joint appearances to exclude some lower rivals after a forum in Detroit Thursday.

Edwards says, "We should try to have a more serious and a smaller group."

Clinton agrees, saying, "We've got to cut the number" and "they're not serious." She also says that she thought their campaigns had already tried to limit the debates and say, "We've gotta get back to it."

14. I read the thread but think I want to hear more
Thom's take on the
thread was Edwards and Clinton were asking for less numbers of debates.

I await more info myself.

16. Really? Even after the way Hillary treated her challenger in NY?
She's got a track record of this stuff. Edwards didn't -- to my knowledge anyway.
