Can you stomach it? Lieberman on Bush's historical evaluation
Lieberman asked how history would evaluate Bush?
"Well, I personally believe, look, mistakes were made, and I know the polls are down, but I think on the largest issue of our time, which is the rise of Islamist extremism, that he will be judged as a president who saw the threat, and in the midst of an unpopular war, he stuck with it. And so I think, overall, over time, hisratings among the historians will be greater than his ratings in the polls today."

4. Lieberman is a racist.
I think he wants Arabs to die.

I hope that wasn't over the line, but I can't find a friendlier way to say it.

Lieberman is doing more apologizing for Bush than his own party.

9. Just a couple of mistakes in that quote
"Well, I personally believe, look, mistakes were made, and I know the polls are down, but I think on the largest issue of our time, which is the rise of Islamist extremism, that he will be judged as a president who saw massively exacerbated the threat, and in the midst of an unpopular war, he stuck with it. And so I think, overall, over time, his ratings among the historians will be greater even worse than his ratings in the polls today."

Conrad Black found guilty

Just goes to show...

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/14/business/13cnd-black.html?ref=business

Conrad M. Black, the gregarious press tycoon also known as Lord Black of Crossharbour, was found guilty today by a Chicago jury of three counts of mail fraud and one count of obstruction of justice. He could face up to 35 years in prison.

kudos to Chicago.

I really don't think things will work-out the way they're planned.

What the hell is Lieberman getting out of this? A place in the Carlyle group perhaps.
