How far are we into this Bush administration, six, seven years now? How do you feel? Did you get what you wanted? How did your choice for President impact abortions? Did your choice better your way of life? We've learned recently that the bad guys are at pre 9-11 levels, do you feel safer? When your choice said, "We hear you and the people who knocked down these towers will hear us all soon", did you get chills down your spine? Does that pride still affect you today? Did you see any jobs return to America? Are you happy with gas prices?
That blind faith in a political party may cloud the way you answer the above questions, which is a shame. When you wanted Bill Clinton's hide could you have believed the party you supported was much worse? Would you have believed while Newt Gingrich yelled for impeachment he was doing the same thing? You see your leaders in Washington go to prison, you see them solicit sex from young boys, you see them sell their votes to corporations, and you see the man you chose for President who told you, "If we have a leaker it will be dealt with" commute the sentence of said leaker when convicted.
What did you get from this administration other than almost 4000 young men and women killed in a war you will pay for until you die and then your kids will be stuck with the bill? War isn't a football or basketball game, it's not a place to yell, "We're number one!!". In war people die, in this war people die for no reason. Was that what you voted for?
Your vote killed these young men and women, plain and simple. Your blind faith ended their lives. I can't say it any nicer than that, the cloud of a political ideology blinded you. All we can ask now is, will you look beyond blind faith the next time around? That next decision you make may include your life or the lives of your children. I won't vote to send your children to die, you have my word on that.
