Bruce Fein on with Bill Moyers is excoriating Chimp.
(He's the guy who authored the impeachment charges against Clinton) ... he's sounding like John Dean. There is hope, people. This program is all over the board time-wise (on PBS) tonight, but so far it's well worth watching.
3. The dark-haired guy said exactly what I've been saying:
That none of the candidates have said boo about giving back George's stolen powers. I do NOT want to have to impeach a Democrat for a good reason. I do NOT.
But if we don't impeach these criminals, the inheriting Democrat will face temptations no human is great enough to ignore.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD....How do we get Congress to act???
I have called the House and Senate offices this week...and called. and called. and called.
We are totally isolated from members of Congress. you call and get some bimbo phone person who sometimes listens and that's the end of it. Do you think Nancy Pelosi, or anyone else CARES what we think? Do you think our letters, faxes and phone calls ever get to these people who are supposed to be representing us?
I don't think Nancy Pelosi cares about anything other than filling her coffers for her next run for congress.
Jesus f'ing Christ! Bruce Fein was affiliated with the American Enterprise Institute!! What should that be telling every American? Even those we think are batshit crazy are scared out of their wits over what's going on.
Bruce Fein, a traditionally conservative character (who sounds like he's been snorting helium), is clearly appalled by the civil liberties violations of this regime and the precedents being set. And he's also disturbed by the fact that none of the current presidential candidates have said they *won't* do the kinds of things Bush has been doing.
