Listening to McCain, it occurred to me-

that he as a real problem with endings.

He couldn't leave the prison of war camp when the opportunity arose..

He can't face the concept of ending Iraq...

He can't face the reality that he has no hope of being the GOP choice...

I used to think his refusal to leave his Brothers in Arms behind had kind of a masochistic ..honor..

But I wonder if it is far more than this.

Endings are often hard, but this is ridiculous

any thoughts?

3. He wears his tenacity as a badge of honor--unfortunately, other people

are suffering for this type of tenacity. He thinks he's being brave and showing political courage. If he has a pragmatic streak, it's gone.

9. My thoughts are that he would never end the war..

he has been told that he is a"Maverick" so he would do his damndest to prove that he is tough and would never end the occupation, he would be as bad as his predacessor. Another problem with him is he will never give up until he is made to in some way and he may crack up because they promised him that he would be president no matter what the people say.
