Media REFUSES to say "Republican Filibuster"
In fact, they go OUT of their way to say Democrats 'forced' a filibuster, as if the Dems are blocking the vote! It's total insanity in MSM world these days. Josh Marshall gives us the latest....

Here's another beaut just out from the AP in which David Espo describes tonight's events but refuses to use the word 'filibuster' until he gets around to describing what the Democrats did four years ago in the judicial appointments fight -

(ed.note: Honestly it's gotten so flagrant, especially with AP, that I start to wonder if it's not intentional rather than a product of sloppiness and being cowed by GOP flacks)

Late Update: And then there's Reuters. When is a filibuster not a filibuster? When it's a "procedural roadblock."

2. the dems should start saying that in their portions
every one of them should say they are ready to vote right now, up or down, if the minority will agree to stop taking and get down to business.

3. These things that are being done by the media -- I wish
there was someway that the senate and congress could have them recorded in the congressional record. That way it will be recorded how the media, owned by the republican corporations tried to block the government of this country and shred the constitution.

6. It gets worse! Sawyer falsely claimed Reid "vows to filibuster"
This is a living nightmare. Who is controlling our media and our lives. What. The. FUCK!!

On Good Morning America, Sawyer falsely claimed Reid "vows to filibuster"

During the July 17 edition of ABC's Good Morning America, co-anchor Diane Sawyer falsely claimed that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) "vows to filibuster, talking all night to close out all topics besides a vote on Iraqi troop withdrawals."

7. Hmmm, Sawyer is sounding like Humpty Dumpty...
...in Alice In Wonderland:

'When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said, in a rather scornful tone,' it means just what I choose it to mean, neither more nor less.'

'The question is,' said Alice, 'whether you can make words mean so many different things.'

'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master - that's all.'
