It is time to get rid of the filibuster. Remember the repugs threatened if the Dems filibustered

It is time for the Dems to rule up or down to get rid of the filibuster

The republicans started this nonesense, and it is time for the Democrats to call their bluf

They should have done it two years ago when the republicans threatened them

I hear you, but it hasn't always been used for the best intentions, and in fact I think more times than not it has hurt rather than helped

just my opinion, it would be interesting how others view it

The blackmail over the supreme court justices, and the group that "compromised" just to keep it implies how it was used for blackmail. If that is how it is used, I am not sure it is worth it

... It's the electorate's fault when it be used in the latter way, rather than the former.

You can't evil-proof a system of government - that's up to the people themselves.
