2. keep looking, wake me up 20 or 30 years from now...
we have a congress that is willing to go to the wall and pull an all nighter for a vote on the war when they know fully well that they don't have the votes, YET, they won't start impeachment proceedings because they state that they don't have the votes.

I know it makes my head hurt too.

I do this to solve it: :banghead:

my prediction. nothing happens. just like with rice, she got subpoenaed but that disappeared like a fart in the wind.

come september, more people will have died in iraq, more lies and crimes will be committed by the moron*, their will be more hearings and various other subpoenas issued only to be ignored and yet, the house and senate dems will be completely mystified as to why this happens.

What we have with the dems in control is this: they are bringing a knife to a gun fight.

6. Shrub told Miers not to appear. That alone is a felony and grounds for Impeachment & still nothing.
When Miers didn't appear yesterday, they should have immediately sent the Sargent At Arms to get her. My guess is that they will ask the Justice Dept to take care of it, and we all know how quickly they'll arrest her..right????

:sarcasm:

7. I Believe The Next Step Is
I believe this is how it works next - someone might want to correct me and if they do you should listen to them, not me.

There will be an emergency meeting of the Subcommittee which will vote to find her in contempt and to move the matter to the full committee. Then the full committee (which may meet concurrently with the subcommittee or they may alternated between the two in the same room) will vote that a Contempt of Congress charge is appropriate. That vote will win on a straight party line Yea and nay vote. Then it will go to the full house where it should pass with a party line vote as well. Then, and only then will the marshall head to Harriet's house with the cuffs out.

8. Thanks for your response! I know we have the house but do you think the majority will vote to cuff
her?
