1. Nice - GC, but I think there has been a similar and recent such group

limbaugh, hannity, krystol, cheney, bush, snow, vitter, abramoff, delay and on and on and on. Just spreading those conserative values and urging on mass killings. I will never forget that November afternoon in 2002 when a young (20 something) flag waving bush supporter who answered when I asked him where he had served in the military, "I haven't served, yet." He was reading me the riot act because I thought it was a stupid fucking idea to go into Iraq.

3. Didn't you post about that at the time?

I swear I remember that (but, then again, I'm old). What I definitely do remember is the time a couple of young Repug warriors (minus that whole actual "war" thing, of course) were stupid enough to invade the local watering hole of a retired Navy Chief and proceed to lecture him about patriotism. I re-read that one several times, and it always made me smile. Here's to you, teammate.

4. Yeah, that was me teammate

I was told to join the Army to prove my love of country. Although there was just one of him. Me and my fellow old farts were engrossed in the bar maids low cut blouse at the time (ya know I think they dress that way on purpose?!?!.) And in comes Captain America all ready to free the universe of liberalism.

2. Carrying on the GOP tradition of cowardice and hypocrisy.

"I can't join, I'm too busy going to school and trying to get a high paying job." seems to be their excuse for not putting their ass on the line. They should all be rounded up and forced into the military at gun point.
