When Was Last OBL Video Where He Mentions A Recent Event?

I know that the media has their heads up their collective ASSES, so they wouldn't know a fake video from a legit one.

That's why I'm asking this question here. I'm sure it's a longshot even getting an answer from a knowlegable DUer, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

In Any of the videos released, which show and have words spoken by OBL, does he ever speak about particular details, or specific events in time, so the timing of the video can be determined or verified?

Or rather, does he speak with vague references, thus making it impossible to tell if it was recorded in 2001, or 2007?

Funny how our society is quick to believe that any video released, is actually recent, while the fact may very well be that OBL has been dead for years already.

I would not expect the government nor the media to tell us the truth, even if they knew or cared about it. Let them be their lazy, facist selves.

That could have been released recently.

evade having his picture taken for 6 years? Camera phones not popular in the ME? No one interested in $25MM reward? We can't locate him with our military satellites that resolves to inches of clarity?

He's either retired (clean shaven and a nose job) enjoying himself on some nice remote island on Micronesian or he died at Tora Bora and this fact was kept covered up because it would not have been helpful fighting this administration's GWOT.

PARIS - President Jacques Chirac and Saudi officials said Saturday that information contained in a leaked intelligence document raising the possibility that Osama bin Laden may have died of typhoid in Pakistan last month is “in no way whatsoever confirmed.”

Chirac said he was “a bit surprised” at the leak and has asked Defense Minister Michele Alliot-Marie to probe how a document from a French foreign intelligence service was published in the French press.

The regional newspaper l’Est Republicain on Saturday printed what it described as a copy of a confidential document from the DGSE intelligence service citing an uncorroborated report from Saudi secret services that the leader of the al-Qaida terror network had died.<snip>

“According to a reliable source, Saudi security services are now convinced that Osama bin Laden is dead,” said the intelligence report.

There have been periodic reports of bin Laden’s illness or death in recent years but none has been proven accurate.

According to this report, Saudi security services were pursuing further details, notably the place of his burial.

“The chief of al-Qaida was a victim of a severe typhoid crisis while in Pakistan on August 23, 2006,” the document says. His geographic isolation meant that medical assistance was impossible, the French report said, adding that his lower limbs were allegedly paralyzed.

The report further said Saudi security services had their first information on bin Laden’s alleged death on Sept. 4.<snip>

No accurate reports af this guy health one way or another, yet a newspaper has to stipulate for us not to believe he has not died, even though we were led to believe that earlier reports said so. Neither proof of life can be confirmed as well as death, this is a contradictory report. The older we get the more likely natural causes and disease catch up to all of us. The last film released 2 weeks ago was the same one from 5 years ago, so he may not even be alive anymore.

PARIS - A French regional newspaper quoted a French secret service report on Saturday as saying that Saudi Arabia is convinced that al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden died of typhoid in Pakistan last month.

L’Est Republicain printed what it said was a copy of the report dated Sept. 21 and said it was shown to President Jacques Chirac, Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin and France’s interior and defense ministers on the same day.

“According to a usually reliable source, the Saudi services are now convinced that Osama bin Laden is dead,” the document said.

“The information gathered by the Saudis indicates that the head of al-Qaida was a victim while he was in Pakistan on Aug. 23, 2006, of a very serious case of typhoid which led to a partial paralysis of his internal organs.”

The report, which was stamped with a “confidential defense” label and the initials of the French secret service, said Saudi Arabia first heard the information on Sept. 4 and that it was waiting for more details before making an official announcement.

Officials contacted by Reuters in Chirac’s and Villepin’s offices had no immediate comment.

A senior official in Pakistan’s interior ministry said: “We have no information about Osama’s death.”

Saudi-born Bin Laden was based in Afghanistan until the Taliban government there was overthrown by U.S.-backed forces in late 2001. Since then, U.S. and Pakistani officials have regularly said they believe he is hiding somewhere on the rugged border between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The last videotaped message released by bin Laden was in late 2004, but there have been several low quality audio tapes released this year.
