Is there a new trend among teenagers: torturing and killing defenseless animals?

Last week, some 18-year-old punk in Texas shot a zebra to death:

And these are just the stories I'm personally aware of. And have any suspects yet been found who might have been responsible for the shooting deaths of four dolphins along the California coast a few weeks ago?

Kids in my very own neighborhood did some despicable things to animals growing up.

Just sickening

frying ants with a magnifying glass. Seemed a fun thing at the time but we were stupid little shits and so we did stuff like that. :eyes:

and come to think of it, got the crap beat out of them by their parents. Think there's a connection?

fire. He got counseling and a record when the cat ran under his house and burned the house down. That was back in the 60's. But then in my area kids where mis treating animals, especially strays or wild life.

in my neighborhood used to do horrible things to cats. The boys used to talk about their dad beating them on a regular basis.

They were not only mean to animals but they were perverted little vermin too...that's all I'll say about that.

It first shows up in childhood when kids torture animals. These little bastards
should be locked up.

That day I was more catty looking than usual. I was wearing my wispy cape vest,it flows behind me as I walk because the fabric is very light and billowy,(it is fireproofed) My Liquid blue tiger T shirt, my claw rings,fangs,of course the cat ears and tail,all in black that day I was doing a demonstration,a kind of poi performance show thing, that night so I looked extra nice for it. I had cat stripes painted on my face too.

It all began when I was at the hardware store getting a few connectors to make some new poi.For the color flame lesson later that day.You can't mix color and regular fire poi.They burn at different temperatures so you can't do certain moves with color fire poi it isn't safe you could give yourself some nasty burns. Anyways,
I had tossed my bag of connectors in my fire box.clipped it to my side And walked out the store.The guy who runs the hardware store is an old biker guy, he's used to me going in there,he always asks to see the progress on my tattoos and asks me what color of tail I am wearing today,I wear a long vest thing often ( so it's a play on the old joke of guessing what color someones underwear is). He is a sweetie. He special orders stuff for all the poi students and gives us a discount too.He rocks..


As I was walking to my teacher's place suddenly I saw a little grey cat fly past me, and with a bunch of kids with sticks chasing her. I didn't think, I just turned went after them all.They corralled the cat into a fenced in area that usually should have a dumpster in it,but it was empty.I knew what they were going to do to that cat and I was so pissed off, you don't wanna know.


When two of the bigger boys who looked like they were like 11-13 years old when they realized I was there, they stopped,and started getting smart with me,arrogant as hell,making lame remarks about my cat ears.I noticed the younger kids were keeping the cat cornered and watching us.

I didn't say anything back, I took off one of my ready to light poi clipped to my fire box which I had strapped on my side,they watched me as I lit it(always carry a lighter)and I began swinging it over my head moving in closer.

My poi are 8 pounders,my teacher thinks I need to start on the ten pounders, but I'm dreading the sore arms you get when you move to heavier poi.

Regardless up close poi look dramatic,big and scary and they are on FIRE.It used to make my mom nervous watching me practice my moves in my backyard.Later after much convincing I got mom to try it herself ,and she realized it wasn't as dangerous as it looked..

Anyways, When you swing fire poi the flames roar,loudly too.
I drew my boot-knife,and kept my eyes on the smart ass ringleader.I closed in on them real fast close enough to scare the fuck out of them but not catch them on fire.. I cornered them right up against the fence,I got in their face told them the cat gods will eat you alive if you dare hurt a cat, you Assholes,I'll come back to get you!!you fucking losers ..Don't EVER, EVER Fuck with ANY Cats,again you pieces of Shit!!!Ssssnnnaaarlll..

The younger kids were shrieking and hauling ass over the fence, they looked like 6 or 5 year old bullies in training.

I looked right into the ringleaders eyes and hissed my scary panther hiss right in his face,I think he got a little spit spray, but when I was that close he had his eyes on the poi fire roaring right next to his head,he looked scared shit less.

His buddy was too scared to move he was watching the knife as I had it pointed right at his gut,he was scared to breathe.I lunged at them both, one last time growling bearing my fangs and snapping my jaws a little spit flew ,they both shuddered and shut their eyes.

Than I backed off just enough to give them enough space to run past me they just panicked and ran,stumbling over themselves to get out of there.

After a few seconds of shaking the stress off.. I started smirking..than laughing..I had tears in my eyes I was laughing so hard...

I looked for the cornered cat, saw her..As I put out the poi. Her eyes were huge with terror,I knelt down and told her she was safe now,and soon the cat felt safe enough to run past me and she left. I told her I loved her,I really thought she was such a pretty cat too, she looked no older than 6 months or she was a petite kitty,dunno which.She was a soft Dove grey,white paws, medium length hair ,a slate colored nose with big beautiful amber eyes. What a precious kitty.I watched her trot to a small clump of trees and weeds, than streak under a car, disappear under a house and out of sight, I wondered if she was stray as she had no collar..I really wanted to take her home.Somewhere safe.But at that time I couldn't take in another cat.
I felt sad.

I took a few minutes,to de-stress,and deal with the emotions all this stirred up.. I decided to leave a reminder,for the little fuck heads. I re-lit my poi and left a mark by swinging it up and down slow letting the flame ends lick the fence,leaving impermanent lampblack marks on the wood slats and on the cement marking where the cat was trapped in a flower-like pattern, so it kinda looked like she was teleported away or a UFO lifted her.

My poi teacher says those kids leave the area whenever they see a cat now. She lives near there and has seen those boys before she wonders what the hell I did to straighten them out. I tell her to Ask Sekhmet...LOL

Just look at our Sadist-in-Chief, and his jokes about blowing up frogs as a kid. Frogs today, Iraqi civilians tomorrow...who cares? Not like they're humans, after all!

minimum. Not jail, prison. That would take the urge right out of them. Really hate people who torture animals or kids.
