2. I wanted to post on that appearance, but was just so
astounded by the blatant continuation of this undisguised propaganda, I couldn't come up with a coherent sentence beyond spewing profanity. That tap dance around torture he did was amazingly telling. They are still doing it. Bottom line is that they are still torturing.

4. Zarqawi was NOT NOT NOT in Iraq.
He was in KURDISTAN...under the protection of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

That is a FACT.

THREE TIMES George W. bUsh REFUSED the military's request to hit Zarqawi in Kurdistan; George W. bUsh thought the death of Zarqawi would weaken his case for invasion.

That is a FACT.

Al Qaeda was NOT IN IRAQ.

The "Al Qaeda in Iraq" group IS NOT the al Qaeda responsible (?) for 911.

That is FACT.

But rightwingnuts lie and lie and lie and lie and lie coz rightwingnuts are stupid enough to swallow lie after lie after lie after lie after lie.

5. Zarqawi was not Al-Q Mitch
He was with Al-Ansar-Islam, a group at odds with Bin Laden. He did not swear allegiance to Al-Q until after we invaded.

You already know this Senator, but why tell the truth when the old lies still go unchallenged by shills like Russert.

6. he also lied about the intelligence
Edited on Sun Jul-22-07 11:35 AM by MissWaverly
he said that we invaded due to bad intelligence from Iraqi Generals
who believed Sadaam had weapons of mass destruction. The CIA
had a mole inside Sadaam's inner circle. They knew he had no wmd's.

John Dean comments on the run up to the Iraqi War.

"It is doubtful that Bush and Cheney secretly advised key members of Congress that they
were going to lie about Iraq. And the evidence is overwhelming, certainly sufficient
for a prima facie case, that George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney have engaged in
deceit and deception over going to war in Iraq. This is an impeachable offense.
It is also evidence of the mentality that characterizes the Bush-Cheney presidency,
which has lead to other abuses of presidential power, not unlike those underlying
Watergate-only worse."

John Dean, "Worse that Watergate" (former counsel to Richard M. Nixon),
Warner Books, NY 2004 pages 155-156,

8. Yep! Curveball. As to knowing there weren't any WMD, there is a remarkable
affidavit online that was available to view well before the war. The Affidavit was from Hussein Kamel, one of Saddam's son-in-laws who defected. He was in charge of all WMD programs in Iraq and said that the Nuclear wasn't even really pursued and that all programs ended after the first Gulf War. When Kamel returned to Iraq, he was killed, reportedly at the orders of Saddam.

9. Yes and why was he killed if the information was a lie
Edited on Sun Jul-22-07 11:45 AM by MissWaverly
Yes, the signs were there, I saw a show on the run-up to the Iraq War. After you see Bush, Cheney, Colin Powell and Secretary Rice
make fear mongering speeches over and over again; you realize that they sold the war on WMDs. It was a marketing campaign,
repetition, emotional messages, and the same message coming from multiple sources every day.

10. Ironically, I was just listening to a stream of last night's Coast To Coast AM Show and Ray McGovern
was on. He mentioned Kamel after I posted about him today! Ray McGovern was one of the voices that I listened to on the run-up to Iraq and Scott Ridder too. I also went to the International Atomic Energies site that said that the nuclear reactor in Iraq had been destroyed by Clinton's bombing. I also didn't trust the Sociopaths as I had already had deep suspicions that there was more to 9/11 than met the eye. I used to post furiously on AOL message boards trying to tell people that we were being sold a pack of lies.

11. the reason I suspected something was wrong was the hurry
Edited on Sun Jul-22-07 06:32 PM by MissWaverly
we had to go in right now, we couldn't wait for the UN, we couldn't wait for the
UN inspector's report, I could not understand the hurry and when we went in with Shock
and Awe then I knew they were lying. Rumsfeld was saying that the bombing was precise
and that civilians weren't being hurt. I live in a metro area and I remember thinking
that can't be, there has to be civilian casualties when you start bombing a city.
