Rush being slammed by the left today, bam, bam, bam....

I'm sure the screener is in great peril of losing her/his job. The last caller asked what branch of the military he was in. Rush replied he had never been in the military and the caller stated he didn't think they would have taken a "fat ass." Another caller asked Rush had he ever said anything wrong or found anything wrong that Bush had done in his decision making, etc. (I'm really paraphrasing here) and Rush said no. The caller went silent leaving an awkward silence for Rush to attempt to fill. There was another I can't recall right now, they're coming fast and furious. It's moments like this that make it worthwhile for me to listen to him before Randi comes on........LOL. Such a thing of beauty..

It is all happening for a reason. Unless hell has frozen over, this is all part of a plan to have some roaring comeback...

It seemed like the first few callers he had weren't very supportive of RatBastard, which was a surprise to me.

First off, as one earlier poster said--this show is highly scripted. Rush
determines what he wants to talk about, and the points he wants to make.
Callers who help Rush roll forward his daily garbage--are put on the show.

For example, if Rush has a 20-minute prepared tirade on how global warming
doesn't exist---the caller with the same views gets put through, "Mega-wheat-field-dittos
Rush from South Dakota! I just wanted to make the point that I'm sittin here
in 20-degree temperatures with icicles hanging off my house! Where's the
global warming man! These liberal environmentalists are so whacked!"

Secondly, I listened for a while yesterday, and Rush was having a meltdown
then. He cut some guy off who asked, "What do we do when people criticize
right-wing radio?" Rush cut him off and flew into a tirade, "This is NOT
right-wing radio! This is the Rush Limbaugh show! I'm not going to let
you do this!" Rush went on and on, completely loony tunes.

Rush has been in a bad mood this week, because he's invested his reputation
and his career in propping up Chimpy McFailureton. He's shilled for BushCo
for so long--and now that BushCo is going down--so is Rush. Rush is freaking
out about this and he needs a way to vent his emotions.

So what happens? He gives his call screener orders to let the libruls through
the phone lines. I think most of these calls are fake. Then Rush can run
off the rails---ranting and gesticulating about the awful liberals.

Really---he's just mad at himself for allowing himself to be used by these
discombobulated buffoons in the White House.

Sorry Rush, when you get in bed with idiots who use you--you end up carrying
the same diseases!

If she wins his ratings will go sky high. He will get to do what he loves best and bash Hillary, whine about the gov't, dems, & liberals without having to come up with any good ideas. I remember listening to him when he was bashing the first Bush. Once Bill was elected his ratings when up big time.

Sometimes the most effective point is made by asking a simple, straightforward quesion that can only have an absurb or awkward answer and then just shutting up. Leaves no room for ad hominem attacks or other evasions.
