Anyone supporting Russ Feingold's Censure?
I received email and signed & wrote him in support - but told him we REALLY want this bunch impeached, but thanked him for the censure effort. Is that wrong?

1. I told him censure is a wasted effort
and he needs to move ahead on impeaching the bastards.

4. Of course
its just that I've been away from DU for awhile - and I've found out when that happens I lose alot of valuable information - from those who have studied the issues and have great knowledge of the issues - that is not "out there" in the mainstream. The nuances I suppose.

Actually, I haven't been away THAT long - but if you miss a few days here when things are popping, you miss alot.

My instinct is to back Russ Feingold - but I certainly don't want to do ANY THING that would inhibit impeachment in any way. Its at least a start.

10. I agree...I support the censure, but I am continuously pushing for
impeachment...I have been away for awhile and I notice there is no more sniping between members(Cindy Sheehan usually)...But healthy discussion and conflict is good. Thats why we're liberals.

Demand Accountability

http://www.progressivepatriotsfund.com/input.html

Millions of Americans agree that the time has come to demand accountability from the President and his administration. The two censure resolutions that Senator Feingold proposed will hold the President, Vice President, and the administration responsible for the destructive path down which they've taken our country. The White House can no longer be allowed to shred the constitution, and thumb their nose at the American people, at every turn.

Click here to read more about Senator Feingold's two censure proposals.

Senator Feingold is seeking input from folks in Wisconsin and across the country on what should
be in these final resolutions.

Please take a moment and send Senator Feingold your thoughts.*

7. Censure, at this point, to quote an old Puerto Rican friend, is "throwing rocks at the moon"
It may make a few on this side of the aisle feel better for a bit, but will have absolutely no effect whatsoever on the Chimptatorship.

9. Censure seems like a waste of time. It would tell future generations
we did something, but not much. I do not understand why impeachment is a 4 letter word to Pelosi.

11. It is a waste of time to persue censure. Nothing but impeachment
will get the attention of the *ush crime family.
