How closely are non political junkies paying attention to any of this pre-primary stuff?

How closely are non political junkies paying attention to any of this pre-primary stuff?
Do you think they care at all, or are following how much money Clinton and Obama are raising, or what lame thing Edwards said at a debate, or the implosion of McCain?

I don't know, but I doubt if they care much until primaries start.

If I'm not mistaken, the vast majority of americans have never voted and will never vote.

So I'd have to say, no, they're not paying much attention to the pre-primary stuff. :(

Unless it inundates the news so much that it makes them even more pissed off at the political process and even less likely to vote.

8. I honestly think they're a waste of time
MSM is spending copious hours dealing with an election that's far away while the constitution is being trampled and Bush et al are literally getting away with murder.

Given that so many academics are on holiday, this would have been a great time to have a serious discussion on the constituion.

i'm still waiting for Gore to jump in.

as for the average voter- they probably don't even know that there have been debates already.
