Weather plays havoc with Europeans

The worst flooding in England in 60 years has been offset by a roasting heat wave in Europe that has claimed several lives.

The death toll from a week-long heat wave in Romania rose to eighteen as temperatures reached 41 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, Bulgaria experienced its hottest temperatures since records began with the thermometer moving above 45 degrees Celsius in some parts of the country.

One person has died because of the soaring temperatures, which are expected to keep climbing over the next two days.
