Boogedy boo.
So our local Craigslist Rants and Raves section has been a busy forum for the familiar back and forth between liberals and the other guys for several months, interspersed with plain old monkeys throwing poop that is the Craigslist we all know and love less. But the other day, Rants and Raves started lagging, and I'm starting to get that familiar feeling that we are being - observed. I generally avoid paranioa but in this particular instance, due to the nature of the back and forth, I am seriously starting to wonder if we are being Homeland Securitied.
Anybody else on other CL boards finding similar issues?
Or should I pull the covers down from over my face and take the underpants off my head?
Mahalo!

1. Pull the covers down but never take the underpants off!
We need to keep our sense of humor ;)

Seriously, I don't put it past them to monitor all our sites. It's also amazing how strangely similar 'concern troll' posts start showing up on message boards. After the release of Sicko, it was people who were "concerned" about the film's positive portrayal of Castro's Cuba and the dangers of socialized medicine. It's been established that the RNC and conservative think tanks pay people to blog. So it wouldn't surprise me at all that the Bush admin is watching blogs and message boards.

2. Yes, all the keyboard warriors are being watched. Are you kidding?
We are being followed and "keystroked" every day. The government want to know EXACTLY what WE are doing. That is how important we are. Trust me, they have our keyboards, cell phones and land lines bugged bes\cause what we say is so important. I have heard the clicks on my phone and seen the anomalies on my puter. I keep them busy sending coded nonsensical messages. I show them.

I also have stock n Reynolds aluminum. I may be crazy but I ain't stupid.

3. Mahina, rule #1 one, don't be afraid, rule #2 they're always watching us
I've been dealing with this crap since the 60's. It might be bad now but it's not much worse than then. The biggest problems are that most people aren't paranoid enough and they have better tools these days.

Thanks! My phone is clicking too recently, first time since the 70's.

Regarding the Hawaii CL R&R, it's apparently spooked more than just myself because nobody has posted there since this morning, very unusual. Never happened before.

Psst- The wet dog sleeps in the bunny bush carburator.
