Dirkson and Hart Buildings, US Senate Evacuated for Smoke.....CNN/MSNBC

Apparently the smoke smell is only available to reporters for those two cables...Dana Bash says she smells it. So Two Senate Building evacuated and "smoke can be smelled" but not seen by cameras. BUT...both Buildings were evacuated.

I hope our Senators and House members have learned to take the "valuable papers" with them or they have stuff stored with Dem Friendly Codes for the Safes and File Cabinets. :scared:

This happens so often one does wonder why there isn't more info before they evacutate everyone. Maybe the Microwave Popcorn just exploded...

14. At least from one hearing they left in a very calm orderly way after gathering up everything
Several of us were watching the SFRC hearing on Pakistan chaired by Senator Kerry. When sirens were heard - they continued until they got word to evacuate. Then Kerry told them they were supposed to evacuate - he very calmly explained the best ways to exist.

(The hearing itself is well worth catching and should be bigger news than this small scare - they are already back in the building according to CNN.
