If I lied under oath, I wouldn't get an opportunity to go home, evaluate my responses, and then change them. I'd get my ass thrown in jail for contempt.

I was screaming at my radio this morning listening to Leahy on Ed Shultz, giving Gonzo an opportunity to change his answers.

Contempt!

1. actually you likely would get that chance
usually perjury is only charged after a person refuses to renounce the false testimony.
