Barnk robbery suspect interrupts car chase to buy pack of cigarettes

PHOENIX -- A suspected bank robber made a quick stop while being chased by police to buy cigarettes, and the whole thing was caught on tape, police said.

The driver of the pickup truck stopped in front of a gas station in Phoenix, ran inside and came back out to the vehicle.

The clerk said the suspect ran in, threw a $20 bill on the counter, grabbed a pack of cigarettes and left.

Police did catch up with the man a few minutes later and took him into custody.

2. Running from the cops is stressful, dude!
No time to be having a nicotine fit. ;-)

Seriously, though, do you think he robbed the bank because
he didn't have money for smokes? A person can do crazy things
to feed that monkey.

Found out I had cancer, had surgery, stupidly outed my atheist self at work (you know, the Christian Workplace™ ) and lost my job. It was only a matter of time, the more religious they got, the harder it was to keep up the pretense.

They got all the cancer, though. I'll be back to my uppity self soon.

 Missed you.
