Most Australians feel less safe after country's role in Iraq War

Sydney, July 24: A majority of Australians feel less safe because of their country's involvement in the Iraq war, a survey commissioned by political group GetUp! has revealed.

A Newspoll of 1205 people aged 18 years or older, found six per cent of people feeling that the involvement in the Iraq War has made Australia more safe.

Fifty-one per cent of those polled, however, said Australia is less safe, while 39 percent said it has made no difference to their lives. Four per cent said they were unsure.

1. Having sent troops to illegally invade/occupy another nation, they have reason to feel less safe.

The Iraq invasion and occupation has stretched the karmic rubber band to the breaking point. It is going to snap back eventually.
