Question about "sealed documents" and the JFK assassination

When I was in junior high school (in the early 1970s) we were studing the JFK assassination one day. The teacher remarked that documents on the case had become "sealed for 50 years." This stuck in my head for the last 30 years and I still wonder about that remark. Is there truth to this? Will the whole story be ceremoniously revealed in the year 2013? Or is there nothing left to tell about it?

1. Most of the documents have been released, with some exceptions under the "Kennedy Act".
