Philosophical Question for DUers: Part Two
Edited on Sat Jul-28-07 06:49 PM by PCIntern
What if you ditched the kids with a babysitter and went to the movies tonight and you were up for a little summer blockbuster entertainment? There's a movie playing at the 32-plex on 7 screens which has the following plot: During a ferocious war and occupation, a hot-shot, incredibly handsome athlete who has quit the professional sports arena to fulfill his patriotic duty. (At one time he could have been played by Brian Bosworth before he went off the steroids.) As usual, he becomes thoroughly disillusioned and plans to 'write a book, appear on TV and blow this whole thing out of the water'. Of course, he gets blown away for this...shades of many films, and the rest of the movie is the search for the killers, the plotters, and of course, the destruction of those who planned this whole fiasco. Right to the top. And that's very high. Who hasn't seen this flick before? And who WOULDN'T believe that it could happen?
