Was I seeing things or did some al Qaeda terra-ists try and blow up a highway in S.C. yesterday?

I swear CNN had the huge breaking news banner up with their ominous sounding musical score playing with the newsreader reporting about some Mideastern looking men with a car full of explosives and with the words "al Qaeda" on the bottom of the screen.

Now today there is no mention of this on CNNs transcript page like nothing ever happened.

Did I imagine all this? Was it a false alarm? Mission accomplished? What?

appeared just in time for this vote. Remember it started with Chertoff's gut feeling. Then we had some airport hoaxes thrown in for good measure. And in the end Bush and Cheney got what they wanted.

9. What I can't understand

is this....terrorist smart enough to do what they have done overseas so far. With planning and executing these bombings, why would they be so damn stupid as to call someone in the US and explain what they are going to do. But then bush thinks the congress is a heck of a lot dumber than the terrorist. AND after the vote he seems to be correct.

No one with any sense, would believe this. He only wanted the Democrats plans and they made sure he got them.
