6. And meanwhile, the Congress has begun an investigation of this abuse too!
They did not vote to give Bush what he wanted. They voted on a bill submitted in Congress altering FISA!

The bill did not say "give Bush what he wants." Your characterization is Dem bashing!

7. My characterization is that I never imagined having a dictator in the process here and see the Dems

.... give him what he's asking for.

And EXCUSE ME, I'm a Dem. What on earth did you think I was? I'm not entitled to have eyes, ears and opinions of my party's Congressmen's current actions? That's interesting.

5. Actually, you refer to the Middle District of Alabama, which includes Montgomery, the capitol.
She has now recused herself from the case due to statements that date back to 2002 about her husband, who is the head of the Alabmaa Business Council, aka, the Republican Party that doesn't have Jesus on the Brain, and is a major strategist for the R governor, Bob Riley, Canary, her husband supposedly claimed that Karl would ensure that Canary (his wife and the US attorney) would get Siegelman -- who was perceived as a comeback kid after sitting out a single Riley term.
She actually went to law school at Alabama, and her bachelors is from a great lib arts school in Montgomery, Huntingdon.
U of A's law school, along with its business school are consistently rated as among the top in the public tier of universities. I think UA was 51 out of the entire nation a few years ago. I have several friends who went there or else teach there and it is not a jury-rigged fly by night school by any means.
