UI police trainer: Blackwater deal not a problem

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) -- The director of the University of Illinois Police Training Institute says the agreement he signed with a military contractor doesn't give the company an inside track to training police in Illinois.

Institute Director Tom Dempsey also says the work he's doing training police in Afghanistan for the company, Blackwater USA, isn't related to that agreement. snip

University officials have said administrators, who didn't know about the agreement, approved Dempsey's July request for a monthlong leave to work for Blackwater.

2. More and more Blackwater stories cropping up on the Internet lately.

I wondering who will be in control when Marital Law is declared, the Guard. IMHO, Blackwater will be in charge when Martial Law is declared.

urban assault training and other nice things are part of the program. ya i feel so much safer
