Kyra Phillips...CNN's secretary of propaganda...anyone listerning to her?
Edited on Wed Aug-08-07 01:53 PM by glarius
She's on CNN interviewing Gen. Odierno (I think that's his name) and tossing him nothing but leading questions which are designed to show that the Iraq war is being won! I've been disgusted with her for a long time. She manages to insert herself with a personal anecdote into every interview or story she does. For intstance she says "when I was in Iraq I saw that...."
I was kind of distracted and can't remember anything specific she said just now, but I wonder if others find her as objectionable as I do.

1. She is a glaring example of an unqualified newsreader, at best.
She chose to introduce the Michael Moore segment a couple of weeks ago thusly, "We'll be talking with Michael Moore next, stay tuned if you can stomach it". She needs to get her sorry attitude over to Fox Noise NOW!

3. Objectionable at the very least
She's totally unprofessional and inserting herself and her views into news is embarassingly juvenile. I'm sure she's a fave of CNN.

6. Do you remember at the beginning of the Iraq war when she went up in a
fighter plane over Iraq, dressed in uniform, helmet and all? It was pathetically laughable!

4. The high point of her career was when she was dispensing advice in the CNN ladies room ....

and she had no idea her cordless mic was still on.

5. Unprofessional bit of fluff.
Watching the news conference this morning with the owner of the coal mine. I draw no conclusions about him beyond the fact that he was clearly exhausted, as I'm sure is everyone else involved. He spoke for quite some time and made it VERY clear that they had no definitive answer as to when they might reach the trapped men.

Cut to Kyra. The first words out of her mouth were "they expect to reach the miners in two days."

Irresponsible t%*t.
