Here are what I believe to be some of the craziest political movements (in no particular order):

Racism gone political: Racism is believed by many nowadays to be something that is entirely subjective and has no foundation in actual science, a myth basically. So, it's pretty bad that there are still people who believe in something that had a main purpose to serve colonialism and slavery. And, it's worse when they enter the political fray.

Fascism: A little patriotism isn't a bad thing. But, when Nationalism goes too far and stifles the individual you get Fascism. It is so far out of the mainstream that, aside from an alien invasion, has gotten the Left and the Right, and Capitalists, Socialists, and Communists have fought it side by side.

Christian Reconstructionism/Dominionism: Seeing as how the Dark Ages were actually the Golden Age for humanity, it would be best to return to it, right? :sarcasm: Submitting the world to the Church that is what this ideology is about. Expect GLBT people and people who provide abortions to be stoned, intellectual women to be considered witches, and people of other religions to be chased out of the country if this bizarre ideology got power.

National-Anarchism: A small movement in Yahoo Groups. Some have tried to infiltrate my groups along with some others that are operated by friends. It's Nationalist AND Anarchist. I've seen several speak favorably of Fascism and Theocracy and while others believe in 'racial separatism'. Really weird.

2. I don't know about "isms" but
I really hate it when people attach "aholic" to every word imaginable. i.e.: work-aholic choc-aholic etc.
