Plame investigation demands another look at "suicide".
How did this get swept under the rug?

Lawyer falls to death at hotel
Seaside: Police suspect Paul Sanford committed suicide
By JULIA REYNOLDS
Herald Staff Writer

Almost immediately, he caused a stir after he joined the White House Press Corps in 2005, making waves as the first reporter to ask then-White House press secretary Scott McClellan whether the leaking of CIA agent Valerie Plame's name might be considered an act of treason.

"There has been a lot of speculation concerning the meaning of the underlying statute and the grand jury investigation concerning Mr. Rove," Sanford asked. "The question is, have the legal counsel to the White House or White House staff reviewed the statute in sufficient specificity to determine whether a violation of that statute would, in effect, constitute treason?"

McClellan was apparently flustered by the question and replied that "those are matters for those overseeing the investigation to decide."

34. Nah, how could it be an assassination?
An excerpt from the declassified CIA manual “A STUDY OF ASSASSINATION”:
>
For secret assassination, either simple or chase, the contrived accident is the most effective technique. When successfully executed, it causes little excitement and is only casually investigated.
The most efficient accident, in simple assassination, is a fall of 75 feet or more onto a hard surface. Elevator shafts, stair wells, unscreened windows and bridges will serve. Bridge falls into water are not reliable. In simple cases a private meeting with the subject may be arranged at a properly-cased location. The act may be executed by sudden, vigorous of the ankles, tipping the subject over the edge. If the assassin immediately sets up an outcry, playing the "horrified wit ness", no alibi or surreptitious withdrawal is necessary. In chase cases it will usually be necessary to stun or drug the subject before dropping him. Care is required to insure that no wound or condition not attributable to the fall is discernible after death.

there were people keeping records This old one.........

(snip)
Along these lines, lets not forget that the NWO's handpicked, designated first emperor of the 4th Reich's forthcoming "American Union," George DUBYA Bush, has really kept up the family's deadly tradition as Texas governor--having signed nearly ONE HUNDRED EXECUTION WARRANTS since he became governor in the Lone Star State. Nice killing job, DUBYA!!

Dubya indicated in an interview with TALK Magazine that he thinks killing people is fun, wholesome and entertaining: as he imitated and mocked supposed pleas for mercy from one his his recent execution victims, Karla Faye Tucker. This guy should be a REAL pleasure to have as our President--oops; I mean EMPEROR.

coincidence, not that I believe in such a thing. I think, one day, the BFEE will be held accountable for all the apparent 'suicides' that went on in their 8 year rule.

Something just tells me they will pay in a courtroom, one day.

20. I'm sure it was not a political move in any way, shape or form.
From what I understand, NO one is allowed to ETS from the military! This is different from 'stop loss' in that once that condition goes away, you can leave the military. With the current rules in place, you have to stay in INDEFINITELY. I would figure this would be illegal, but evidently NOTHING is illegal if the BFEE does it!

47. The thing that gets me about Vince Foster...
is that people assume that the President is in charge. After all the assassinations that we have been through in this country, from the Kennedys to MLK to the twice as many Democratic Senators than repugs who have died in plane crashes, why would anyone think that the President calls the shots (literally)? To me, it makes more sense to think that the PTB killed Foster as a warning to Clinton to toe the line.

7. Oh my goodness! And if you really think about it...
falling is a way to produce a suicide scenario without all the forensic evidence of a "self-inflicted" gunshot, which is usually somehow flubbed to give investigators a clue it was not as "self-inflicted" as once thought.

This on the other hand, well, it's very striking. There may be security cameras in the building which could give a clue, as well as any visitor records.

Free speech lawyer Paul Sanford dies in apparent suicide - By Matt King - Sentinel staff writer - December 28, 2006

Free speech and homeless advocate Paul Sanford plunges from building

Free speech lawyer Paul Sanford dies in apparent suicide
By Matt King
Sentinel staff writer

snip:
Paul Sanford, an attorney who made his mark on Santa Cruz with his defense of homeless and indigent residents and once asked the U.S. Supreme Court to strike the words "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance, died Sunday in an apparent suicide.

Seaside police believe that Sanford intentionally fell from at least nine stories into the courtyard of the Embassy Suites Hotel Monterey Bay about 9:20 a.m. Sunday, to the shock of hotel patrons who were eating breakfast in the hotel atrium.

snip:

According to media accounts, the disagreement between the men started after Sanford used a KOMY press credential to join the White House press corps and asked then-press secretary Scott McClellan if the administration's leak of Valerie Plame's identity was tantamount to treason. It's unclear what will happen with the case, which was set for trial in February.

"I know it was particularly troubling for him," Brennan said. "He felt he was treated very poorly and it was difficult for him to understand."

Still, his friends said they had no inkling Sanford was contemplating ending his life.

"There was nothing on the horizon that would warrant what happened," said Mills, who was Sanford's friend for 15 years. "There's nothing I can think about that would be so serious that this would be a solution. It's just so unbelievable."

Sanford's friends and colleagues remembered him as an attentive father and husband, a fun-loving practical joker and a passionate Boston Red Sox fan. In 1992, Sanford started a business called Annoyance Communications, which, for a $10 fee, sent out monthly reminders of the historic failures to fans of star-crossed sports franchises.

Paul Sanford is a lawyer and senior citizens advocate from Aptos, California. Paul and Craig are both originally from Wellesley, Massachusetts, and have been friends since elementary school. Paul is one of the few runners who wasn't running at all when the phone call came, but he has been training aggressively and promises to be ready to go when the bell rings. Paul has run three marathons and will be 45 at the time of the relay.

42. from my files about Paul Sanford
Paul Sanford, first to ask McClellan about Plame/treason link, commits suicide
In what police describe as a "probable" suicide leap, a prominent Monterey Bay Area attorney fell at least nine floors to his death at the Embassy Suites Hotel Monterey Bay in Seaside the morning before Christmas.

(snip)

The White House incident sparked controversy after Beltway bloggers incorrectly described Sanford as a reporter for the Air America radio network. At the time, he was associated with Watsonville radio station KOMY, an Air America affiliate, and Sanford told reporters he never claimed to work for Air America.

Recently bought a new house and opened a law office? From the article:

Friends and associates expressed disbelief at the news of Sanford's death and that it was ruled a suicide, saying Sanford seemed happy and had made many plans for this week and in coming months. Mills said he and Sanford recently decided to open a shared law office to serve Monterey and Santa Cruz counties, something Sanford was looking forward to doing.

very suspicious.

Play detective. I am. I'm from Santa Cruz. I care. This smells very, very bad. Paul had no reason to want to do this that I can tell. It sounds like he had a great life and every reason to want to live it.

I lived in Santa Cruz County for 27 years, almost my whole life. It pisses me off a lot when they fuck with my people. I am going to fight back.

52. Stinks to high heaven IMHO.
Someone carried out a "hit" on Paul by luring him to one of the few tall buildings in the area and pushing him out of a window on the top floor.

This is speculation at this point.

Why was he there? Who was he meeting? Why was he not checked in there? What explanations are likely causes for the paciing in a hallway on the floor?

Did he have any known enemies? Did he say anything to anyone that gives clues to his recent intentions in terms of ongoing investigations and lawsuits?

We know that he did not have financial troubles as he had just bought a second home. He had a happy family. He lived in an extrememly beautiful area.

What really happened to Paul? I want to know.

59. He didn't fall out of a window. Embassy Suites "hallways" surround a huge interior atrium.
Doors to rooms on one side of the hallway, open space overlooking the atrium on the other. Also open to view from the other hallways that surround the atrium. He fell from one of those hallways into the atrium.

54. WOW
This country has such strong morals and what not I'm sure that none of our elected officials, elected by this total fair election system are bad or evil at all, they are just doing what is necessary to keep up the greatness, freedom and democracy of this republic, the military industrial complex, the World banks and the Corporations.

We need to have a total security and surveillance of every person in this country so that we can be freer than anyone else.

And if that doesn't work they might accidental commit suicide!

55. Being from Aptos, had you heard this story before
Mrspeeker? I lived in Santa Cruz for 17 years, and most people I know there were unaware of Paul's death.

62. sry
My comments where sarcastic. the medias ability to funnel the story's it feels we should read or not read in this case is amazing and the puppets behind this are even more outrages. But yet the media will tell the story as if these ppl are gods and have never done anything at all wrong at the same time covering up the real news.

So of course the Suicide was not covered at all. It couldn't possible make it through the Media consolidation filter!
